IF YOU SIMULCAST TO FACEBOOK - WATCH THE VIDEO

This video will show you how to create your new Sermon Studio account within our version 3 platform. This will enable you to utilize our new and improved Livestreaming and Simulcasting technology.

1. To get started, go to sermon.net and click on the Try It Free button in the upper right.

Enter the email and password for your new v3 account. If possible, please use the same email as your current v2 account

The system will send an email to verify the address you have used. Click on the link within the email to be logged directly into your brand new v3 account.

2. Enter your ministry's information and click on Complete Profile

3. On the v3 dashboard you will find your v3 livestream credentials. Within your livestream encoding hardware or software you will replace your v2 credentials with the new v3 credentials.

For example, if you are using OBS as your encoder, copy and paste both the server address and stream key to replace what is currently in OBS with the new credentials from v3 .

4. Next, within your v3 studio, go into Livestream > Simulcasting to add your destinations / targets. You can add Facebook and / or Youtube.

Within the Social Posting page you can control what information is sent to your streaming targets, including the title, description, and artwork.

5. You will now want to connect your v3 account to your v2 account so that the players and archive in v2 continue to work as normal.

In v3 > Live Stream > Simulcasting... Click on Custom RTMP and title it sermon.net v2.

sermon.net v2 target

Go into your v2 account > RTMP credentials, and copy the server address and stream key, and paste them into the corresponding locations within v3... and Press save.

6. Please remove the stream targets from within v2 since v3 will be handling this piece of your broadcast.

7. The last suggestion I would have would be to add your artwork to your v3 account. Upload your ministry's image to the the My Account > Account Settings page.  Create the image at 1920 by 1080 for the best result.

Click on change image... choose file... select the image from your system...click on upload... select the image and press save.

That's it, you are now good to go.  PLEASE RUN A TEST BEFORE YOUR NEXT BROADCAST.

Your live stream will be received by the v3 servers. V3 will then send your stream to your social networks, as well as back into your v2 account.

You will continued to be billed through your v2 account. There are no additional fees.
