Problems connecting YouTube as a Simulcast Target

If you are not able to connect your YouTube account as a simulcast target you may need to login to YouTube and make sure everything is set up properly within your YouTube account.

MAKE SURE LIVE STREAMING IS ACTIVATED WITHIN YOUR YOUTUBE ACCOUNT.

If you have not streamed through your YouTube account before, you will need to login to your YouTube account directly and request activation of  the Live Stream feature. Click on the camera icon in the upper right > Click on Go Live. You will need to provide a valid phone number. Note: It can take up to 24 hours for this feature to be activated by YouTube.

IF LIVE STREAMING IS ACTIVE IN YOUTUBE, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ANSWERED ALL OF THEIR QUESTIONS.

Please log into your YouTube account directly, click the camera icon at the top right of the screen and hit Create >  Go Live.   Next, click the top left icon "Stream" if it is currently accessible.  If it not yet accessible, first answer any questions YouTube asks you.

- If asked if you are going live now or later - select now.

- If asked if you are using a webcam or streaming software - select streaming software.

- Typically if asked if it is made for kids the answer would be no, unless it is a cartoon or kids show you are streaming.

Note: Do not schedule anything within your YouTube account. Let your sermon.net account handle everything.

Once the Stream page loads and the Youtube player shows "Connect Streaming Software to Go Live" close this screen and try to add your Youtube simulcast target within your sermon.net account again.
