Simulcasting to your Social Networks

Sermon.net can simulcast your live stream to up to 3 other target platforms that ingest RTMP streams such as Facebook, Youtube and others.

A] ADD YOUR SOCIAL POSTING DETAILS

STEP 1:
Go to the Simulcasting (https://v3.sermonstudio.net/secure/LiveSimulcasting) page within your account.

STEP 2:
Click on [Social Post Settings]

STEP 3:
Set up your post title, description and image to customize the posts for your simulcast targets to Facebook, Youtube and others.

  1. Enter the broadcast’s title
  2. Enter the description
  3. Add image: click Change Image > Select existing image - or - Choose File > (select image from your system) > click Upload > Select image.  [Note: Image should be 1920x1280]
  4. Press [Save Posts Settings Changes]

Note: If you have a Live Broadcast Schedule (https://v3.sermonstudio.net/secure/LiveSchedule) activated, its scheduled settings will automatically update/overwrite the settings on this page.




B] CONNECT YOUR SOCIAL NETWORK DESTINATIONS

There are three destination types: (i) Custom RTMP, (iii) Facebook, (iii)YouTube. You can add any combination. Up to 3 destinations total.

(i) CUSTOM RTMP

STEP 1:
Go to the Simulcasting (https://v3.sermonstudio.net/secure/LiveSimulcasting) page within your account.

STEP 2:
Click on [ Custom RTMP ]

STEP 3:
Add Custom RTMP Target information provided by Target destination. You can obtain your stream credentals from YouTube, Facebook, etc.. to use in this location. In YouTube go to CREATE > GO LIVE... Within YouTube Studio > Stream in the lower left you will see your Stream Key and Server URL that you will copy and paste into your v3 > Custom RTMP.

  1. Title
  2. Stream URL (rtmp://…)
  3. Stream Key
  4. Click [Add Target]

(ii) FACEBOOK

Using this integrated Facebook feature your broadcast’s description can automatically be passed to Facebook along with the stream.

STEP 1:
Go to the Simulcasting (https://v3.sermonstudio.net/secure/LiveSimulcasting) page within your account.

STEP 2:
Click on [ Facebook ]

STEP 3:
Within the popup overlay Click on [ Facebook Login ]

STEP 4:
Note: Make sure you are connecting to the proper Facebook account, or an account that has admin rights to the targeted destination Page, Profile, or Group at Facebook.

1. Login to the proper Facebook account.

2a. Follow the onscreen prompts provided by Facebook to connect your account.

2b. If you have admin rights to more than one Facebook account, select the targeted Stream Destination.

3. Click  [ Continue ]  to complete the connection.

STEP 5:
Once you close the overlay the new target will be displayed. You can  [ Enable / Disable ]  the target, or remove it completely. After you make any changes, press  [ Save ].

(iii) YOUTUBE

Using this integrated YouTube feature your broadcast’s title, artwork, and description can automatically be passed to YouTube along with the stream.



STEP 1:
Go to the Simulcasting (https://v3.sermonstudio.net/secure/LiveSimulcasting) page within your account.

STEP 2:
Click on [ YouTube ]

Click on [ YouTube/Google Login ]

1. Make sure you are connecting to the proper YouTube/Google account.
2. Follow the onscreen prompts provided by YouTube by clicking  [ Continue ] to connect your account.

STEP 4:
Once you close the overlay the new target will be displayed. You can  [ Enable / Disable ]  the target, or remove it completely. After you make any changes, press  [ Save ].
