Simulated live streaming is when you playback a pre-recorded video at a scheduled time. However, your online audience will experience its playback at the same time, as if it were a live stream. And with live chat they can all interact during the scheduled event as it is happening.
Here are just a few ways to use it...
- You know you will be out of town and you want your congregation to be able to watch you at the regularly scheduled time.
- There is a bad weather event (blizzard or hurricane) headed your way that may disrupt the normal routine.
- You have sermon videos that you want to repurpose and stream them at certain times of the day. This could be a Sunday evening or mid-week broadcast.
- You might have a conference or revival service, and to make it easier for the speakers you get their pre-recorded video content and use simulated live streaming for the broadcast.
